Wesley B. Howard

       Wes Howard is the President and founder of Howard Law Firm, P.C. He focuses his practice on commercial, real estate, construction and employment litigation and business disputes. He has a wide range of experience in lawsuits and arbitrations involving commercial contracts, business torts, real estate developments and company dissolutions. He also has an active practice representing and advising insurance policy holders. 

       From 1980-1982 Wes served as law clerk to the Honorable Jean S. Beitenstein, Senior Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. In 1983, Wes was awarded a grant under the US-Spain Friendship Treaty to study water law in Madrid. Wes has been on the Colorado Super Lawers® list since 2009 for business litigation, general litigation, and business/corporate law. Over the course of his practice, Wes has been actively involved in several legal and civic organizations, including the Denver Bar Association, Colorado Bar Association, Williams College Alumni Association of Colorado, Colorado Spanish Speaking Lawyers Association, Colorado Bar Foundation. He has served in many different leadership roles in various of these organizations. 

        Wes developed and taught courses to Mexican lawyers earning their Master's degrees in the law school program at the PanAmerican University, Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico and the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid (Autonomous University of Madrid, Spain) entitled: U.S. Business Entities, Comparative Business Organizations - U.S. and Mexico; and What Foreign Investors should know about U.S. Business Law. 

       The parents of two children, Wes and his wife, Patricia, have been actively involved as volunteers with Denver Public Schools and as members of the Washington Park neighborhood community of Denver. Wes served as the first President of the Denver Soccer Club, a non-profit corporation serving Denver youth. During his spare time, Wes enjoys bicycling, hiking, and camping as well as reading and speaking Spanish.
